Kala Soudha:This auditorium hosts dance, drama, music and movies. With a view to address the dearth of venues, we dedicate KHKS to Bangalore’s culturally-rich citizens and connoisseurs of art. |
Mahapeede Mahablu:As the name suggests the play is about a man who's OCD has taken a heavy toll on everyone he knows. The play is constructed around the situation of two divorcees under one roof. One has loved the family to reach there and the other neglected the family, extremities to the core gets the comedy out of the play. Their conflict adds to the humor element of the play and lays path to ROFL comedy. |
Masthi Kallu:This play unlike the original script which was about Roopa Kanwar the Sati case in Rajhastan has turned out into a love story. Shivaram Karanth in his Sarasammana Samadhi narrates how different women will behave in situations similar to Roopa Kanwar. Masti Kallu's reference is taken to prove to people that love exists in all situations & Masti Kallu refers to our play being witness to one such instance. That instance is the just of the play. |
Namma Nimmolagobba:Namma Nimmolagobba - one among us as it translates in English is a thriller. The play written by well known theater thespian Rajendra Karanth is a classic play with all the ingredients to place the audience at the edge of their seat. This play has been successfully staged several times by several generations of theater enthusiasts. |
RangaAayama 2014:The annual festival of Prakasam in Kala Soudha for the fifth time. With more members this certainly was Team Prakasam all the way. We wish the support we got from public for this show continues as it has been for the other events. With BR Chaya, Sumana Kittur, Sihi Kahi Geeta being part of the event on stage, it certainly was the biggest festival we had ever organised.
Bhava Navanaveena:The absence of a pure musical production was answered earlier by Ugalageethe. To pay tribute to Rasthrakavi Dr. GSS, we performed a dance showcase where music was composed by us and choreography was too done in-house. This was the best dance performance so far for Team Prakasam.

Vaave:When a confession brings a man and a woman face to face with reality, it has repercussions far beyond what they could have imagined. As further confessions and events unfold, they threaten to tear a family apart. Skeletons tumble rapidly from cupboards and it becomes increasingly unclear as to who is the victim and who is the victimizer. The facade of sophistication is gradually unmasked and the people involved come face to face with themselves. All because of.....VAAVE.
Kattalu:Kattalu deals with a team of young theatre enthusiasts who are rehearsing a drama with the same name in a supposedly haunted auditorium.
